There are many people out there who are interested in Dove’s recent ad, “I Feel Pretty.” The story behind it is interesting, the cast is fabulous, and I can’t wait to see it! However, do you think this ad is worth the time and money? Read on to find out more!
Story
The film I Feel Pretty is about a single New Yorker named Renee Bennett who is desperate to improve her self-image. She starts to get better at looking her best after suffering a head injury. It is this resulting confidence that helps her to live her life to the fullest.
The movie stars Amy Schumer, Naomi Campbell, Emily Ratajkowski, Rory Scovel, Bus Philipps, and Michelle Williams. This is a comedy film. There is a lot of strong language used, and there are some racy conversations. It also contains some kissing and implied nudity. You can watch the film on Netflix, but you can’t buy it online.
The movie is a wacky comedy about a woman who believes that she looks just like everyone else. That’s until she gets a head injury in a spin class. After she wakes up, she believes that she is hot and beautiful, and begins to take steps to improve her appearance. But as she starts to gain confidence, she realises that no one else can see her true beauty. Eventually, she loses her fear of being seen, and she is able to live her life to the fullest.
Though it isn’t the most original story, it is a funny movie. If you love comedy, you should check it out. Also, it’s not easy to find the movie on DVD or Netflix, so you should consider buying a DVD copy or renting from a local DVD store. I’d recommend it if you enjoy films that focus on the lives of people who are often considered “hot”. The film was directed by Marc Silverstein.
Cast
I Feel Pretty is a well made, well acted film that will be a pleasant addition to the family movie night. Besides the usual suspects, you’ll also find some other stars of the genre, including Michelle Williams, Naomi Campbell, Rory Scovel, and Bus Philipps. The film has been produced by Voltage Pictures, Wonderland Sound & Vision, and will be released in theaters on June 29. I Feel Pretty is a fun film that is sure to have you giggling in the aisles.
The movie was directed by Marc Silverstein and written by Abby Kohn. It stars Rory Scovel and Amy Schumer in the lead roles, with Bus Philipps, Michelle Williams, and Naomi Campbell in supporting roles. Other than its laughs, I Feel Pretty will have you oohing and ahhing over its cleverly conceived plot. On a side note, Amy Schumer’s performance in the film is a joy to watch. The actor has a chameleon like ability and has a great chemistry with her co-stars. For fans of her work on 30 Rock, this will be a welcome change of pace.
Reception
I Feel Pretty is a movie about a woman’s self confidence. It is about a girl named Renee who is looking to break out of the low-esteem trap that she has found herself in. She is trying to get a job at a company, but she has difficulty doing so. At the same time, she is also being judged by her bosses and by other people in her life.
After her accident, which knocks her unconscious, Renee’s attitude changes. She begins to be more confident, and she is able to win over a new love interest. This new love interest, Ethan, is played by Rory Scovel. His character is more than a little confused about Renee’s intentions. However, the end result is that she and Ethan begin to develop a romance.
In addition to Renee’s relationship with Ethan, the movie also centers around her career. Renee wants to make it to the top of her field, but she feels that she is limited by her lack of self confidence. By the end of the film, she has overcome her obstacles and she is on her way to a new, more fulfilling life.
One of the better parts of the movie is its realistic banter between Rory Scovel and Amy Schumer. The director also has a good eye for detail. For instance, we see that Mason is taking a dump while Renee is talking to him. There are some less interesting subplots, but they are not the reason that I Feel Pretty is a must-see.
I Feel Pretty is a comedy with a lot of potential. However, its predictable, non-sense plots and jokes are offensive and unconvincing.
Dove ad
Dove’s #RealBeauty campaign aims to shift society’s unrealistic expectations about beauty. Its latest inspirational ad encourages women all over the world to reconsider their beauty choices and to take a different approach.
The campaign has gained a lot of attention. Over 26 million people watched its videos. One of them was a video that compared two sketches of women.
It featured a woman who describes herself as average and another who says she is beautiful. This was a subtle critique of the self-image of many women.
The campaign has received a lot of criticism, but Dove’s spokesperson might be doing something right. She has said that Dove was tapping into the deep-seated emotions women feel about themselves.
According to Dove, the campaign was inspired by the company’s extensive research on the way women perceive their bodies. They also developed a series of self-esteem workshops for schools and other public organizations.
Dove also purchased ad space for positive images. As a result, the company has become known as a brand that promotes real beauty.
Since then, Dove has created an online community of users, who post photos of themselves and share messages about the benefits of Dove products. These photos are available on the company’s website.
In addition to promoting self-esteem, Dove also targets women who choose to wear healthy skin and prefer natural looks. Its latest ad is part of its 10-year-old “Real Beauty” campaign.
While the Dove ad aims to make women believe that they are beautiful, it subtly suggests that they are not. However, many women are likely to buy it anyway.
In light of this criticism, Dove may need to think about a new campaign. Perhaps it could include real men who say what they like about women they meet in real life.

I Feel Pretty is a well crafted albeit short lived film that should have been a hit. It stars Amy Schumer as Renee, a woman who has her work cut out for her after an unfortunate head injury. In true Schumer fashion, she isn’t shy about displaying her wares. Besides the obvious suspects, I Feel Pretty features some genuinely funny performances from the likes of Jonah Hill and James Caan. If you’re in the market for a laugh, I Feel Pretty should be at the top of your list of movie recommendations.
The movie is a tad OTT at times, but it’s worth the wait. Some of the best scenes are the least predictable and the cast is unflappable. Aside from the requisite love scenes, you’ll also be treated to a slew of female characters that have you talking for hours on end. Whether you’re in the mood for a romp or a boozed up blowout, I Feel Pretty is bound to keep you entertained. The only downside is that you’ll likely be the only person in the room. Fortunately, there’s a full size theater just a few blocks away, so the wait should be minimal. With the right timing, I Feel Pretty should be the film of the year. Hopefully it’s the only one you see! Lastly, don’t forget to snag a copy for yourself and a few mates. You’ll be glad you did. Make sure you have your credit card on hand.
